What gets collected through a quote request, how it is used, and the choices available at every step.
MorganRide does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Information is collected when an account is created, a quote request is submitted, a message is sent through the contact form, or the site is simply browsed. What gets provided directly includes a name, an email address, a phone number and the vehicle and driving details needed to prepare an auto insurance comparison.
Submitted information is used to prepare and present auto insurance quotes, to answer questions sent through the site, and to keep an account working as expected. It also supports routine improvements to the pages, forms and comparisons offered here.
Consent boxes on the signup form are optional and are recorded separately. Service messages relate to a submitted request, and marketing messages relate to coverage options and offers. Message frequency may vary and standard message and data rates may apply.
Consent can be withdrawn at any point by replying STOP to any message. Replying HELP returns assistance information. Withdrawing consent for marketing messages does not remove access to a submitted quote.
Cookies and similar technologies keep sessions active, remember form progress and measure which pages are useful. Most browsers allow cookies to be blocked or cleared through their settings, although blocking some of them may stop parts of the site from working as intended.
Details are shared with licensed insurance carriers and providers only where that sharing is needed to prepare or deliver the coverage information requested. Service providers such as hosting, analytics and messaging platforms may process information strictly on instruction.
Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it, where a legal claim must be defended, or where a business transfer occurs. Nothing is sold, rented or traded for the marketing purposes of any outside party.
Technical and organisational safeguards are used to protect information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These include encrypted transmission, restricted internal access and regular review of the systems that hold submitted details. No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Information is kept only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as record keeping and legal obligations require. Once neither applies, records are deleted or anonymised so they can no longer identify anybody.
Depending on where you live, rights may exist to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal information, and to object to certain processing. Requests can be made using the contact details at the end of this policy and will be handled within the period the applicable law allows.
This site is intended for adults who are eligible to hold an auto insurance policy. Personal information is not knowingly collected from minors. Where it becomes clear that details belonging to a minor have been submitted, those details are removed.
Some pages link to carrier sites and other outside resources. Those sites operate under their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover what happens once a link is followed. Reviewing the policy on any site before submitting details there is always worthwhile.
This policy may be updated as services, systems or legal requirements change. The effective date shown at the top of this page marks the current version, and continued use of the site after an update means the revised policy applies.
Questions about this policy, or a request relating to personal information, can be sent using the details below.
